Where we are

The Bed&breakfast Blue moon is located on the hills of Piano di Sorrento town. It is located between the two coasts, Sorrento and Amalfi coast.

Sorrento town is about seven km away and Positano about eleven km, both easily reachable by private car or public transport; making it optimal also for trekking lovers.

How to move around

We kindly suggest our guests to rent a scooter or a small car to move around Sorrento and Amalfi coast.

How to reach us by car

The Bed&Breakfast Blue Moon is reachable by car:

Take the A3 Napoli – Salerno motorway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia to take the state road 145 (just follow the signs for “Penisola Sorrentina”). After having traveled the numerous curves of the panoramic road you will arrive at the town center of Meta (recognizable by the large white church on your left),continue straight passing the town centre of Meta and afterthat continue towards Positano, continue for about 4 kilometers and at the crossroads for Positano you have to turn right and continue towards S.Agata on the two gulfs, after the straight road you will find our avenue, number 24, on the right.

Reaching us by train

On the lower floor of the Naples Piazza Garibaldi station there is the Circumvesuviana station from which trains depart for Sorrento. The ticket costs around 3.50 euros and the travel time is around an hour. Get off in Piano di Sorrento and wait for us or ask for internal bus lines.

Reaching us by plane

The closest airport is Naples Capodichino.
The Curreri bus leaves from Naples airport which directly connects the terminal with Sorrento. You can decide to get off in Piano di Sorrento. The ticket costs 10 euros and can be purchased directly on board.
The route is covered in approximately 1h15 minutes.

From Piano di Sorrento you can take internal buses ” Angelino bus” , the nearest bus stop is in front of the avenue entrance.

Reaching us by hydrofoil

A hydrofoil leaves from the “Beverello” pier in Naples and reaches Sorrento in about 40 minutes. From the port of Sorrento it is possible to use the Circumvesuviana bus service (orange colored) to Sorrento station. Once you arrive at the station you can contact us and we will help you out or you can take Sita Bus , Positano and Amalfi direction asking the driver to stop you in “Colli san Pietro”, the nearest stop to the facility.
